![]() When I was a kid, I learned that sometimes idiots bury junction boxes. Maybe someone had a dedicated portable AC circuit or something to prevent overload. Three sounds like a bit much, but it depends on how the house was built and what the goal was. ![]() So one outlet in a room may be on the circuit of the other room that shares the same wall and vice versa. I learned from my electrician when I bought my house that it's not uncommon for many rooms to have one outlet 'swapped' with the circuit for the other room.
